Launchpad

2016

We all like to live in our democracy. But most of us hang around at home, watch Netflix seasons and twitter something critical now and then.
Is this enough?

The Launchpad project explores how uncanny methods, usually used by hackers with criminal intend, could be opened up and democratized.

It proposes a legal botnet which is capable to perform DDoS attacks over the Internet. The WIFI routers are ready to plug & play a DDoS attack and contribute to a protest from the living room.

Whenever an attack takes place, the router is lifting up a sign to demonstrate the participation.

This project is about digital protest as a product and service and how we can participate from the couch at home.

Web Platform where voting for next attacks takes place.

The Project was initially prototyped and exhibited at the Transmediale, Berlin in 2014.
